This year IKEA really got behind some of the healthier Swedish foods sold in store at the Swedish food market.

LABORË is a fictional name brand created to define a series of book covers, the color scheme was of a pastel color combination, the books were used to add realism to the living situation in a room-set. Lorum Ipsum was used for the body of text.

Every year the steering team would come up with ways to get everyone excited about the arrival of the new catalog, IKEA being known for their low prices, the theme went along nicely. This is my rendition of IKEA’s new catalog having all the right prices.
In-store advertisement for IKEA FAMILY offers
Communication created to entice FAMILY card holders to buy and be reminded of available perks. Uploaded to digital monitors and IKEA FAMILY communication boards throughtout the store.
The more universal and generic type of slides are being used in IKEA’s across country. Slides like the free coffee and extended return policies can be seen in multiple stores from state to state.
Am I coming in clear?
Walking into IKEA for the first time could be a bit overwhelming, the overhead guidance tell you where to go (provided you notice it), some of the items aren’t actually meant to be taken and employees in a none sales shirt might not be able to help you.
That is why IKEA teaches it’s shoppers “How To Shop” (provided you notice the color coordinated tags). Every year IKEA presents the public with new product and a fancy new catalog to show them off. As graphics I had to come-up with ways that would help all customers (especially the new ones) learn how to actually identify, find and purchase product in store.
I chose to create and exaggerate the product tags attached to actual furniture. Positioned at the store entrance and lit with just the right amount of lighting, visitors couldn’t ignore not only the attractive product but the communication intentionally demanding attention.
Speech Bubbles and Tags were made of 1/4” gator foam with two forms of an adhesive back vinyl.

Another collaboration created for one of the Sebastian brothers, El-Jhon to be specific. At the turn of his mental century, he started a new and had asked me to splice both some of his past with his new chosen path.
